Loss to Chiefs confirms Dolphins as pretenders, not Super Bowl contenders


With one minute remaining and the game on the line, the Miami Dolphins had an opportunity to tie the reigning Super Bowl champions on a global platform and demonstrate that they are deserving of the high expectations that come with their potent offense.

However, in Miami's most crucial play of the season, Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was unable to control a mishandled snap from center Connor Williams, and the ball sailed behind him.

Sunday's big game between the Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs in Frankfurt, Germany ended in a Dolphins loss of 21-14. And the story is still told.  

The Dolphins don't have a chance. They are a phony. The Dolphins have not proven they are more than just a pretty offense that can defeat mediocre teams; instead, they have lost to the Buffalo Bills, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Chiefs.
